‘No chance!’ Israeli minister TAUNTS Putin by saying Russian missiles are NO MATCH for US

VLADIMIR Putin has been taunted by Israeli minister Tzachi Hanegbi, who warned him surface-to-air missiles bought from Russia and deployed by Syria have NO CHANCE of stopping its US-bought fighter jets.

Russian S-300 missiles are delivered to Syria

Mr Hanegbi, the country's regional cooperation minister and a non-voting member of its security cabinet, even boasted the newly supplied S-300 missile system could even be destroyed on the ground by F-35 Joint Strike Fighters it purchased from the United States.

Moscow confirmed on Tuesday it had delivered the first consignment of S-300s to the regime of Mr Putin’s ally, President Bashar Assad .

Officials said one so after the downing of a Russian spy plane by Syrian forces in September.

Russia accused Israel of being indirectly responsible for that act because the Syrian forces had been firing at attacking Israel jets.
